To wrap up the 2004 moviegoing year, MCFTR decided to run a mini-awards show of its own. This time around, all previous contributors to MCFTR were invited to contribute their lists of what they felt was the best and worst of the year. There were no strict guidelines to adhere to; rather, each contributor was encouraged to put their own personal touch on their individual list.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks, we will be unleashing each contributor's lists, and at the end of it all, there will be a collective list that reflects the staff's views of what was worth seeing and what was worth shitting on. Here are the lists:
