Personally, for me, the ONLY bad thing about this movie was Doctor Doom. Galactus being a big cloud? Couldn’t care less. The surfer and his portrayal? Perfect. The FF themselves and their portrayals? Extremely good. Doctor Doom? Utter and total crap. I hate the actor that plays Doom, I hate the design for Doom, and I hate the “he’s just a cheap Emperor Palpatine” portrayal of Doom. The good doctor is one of the most important and evil villains in comic history, easily up there with Joker and Luthor. Doing this BS to him is an absolute insult.

While the writing was bad, silly banter while rolling office chairs frightening, dance scene nauseating, the most horrifying aspect of this movie was Jessica Alba’s make up. I actually thought she was a plasticized creature from Doctor Who. I kept waiting for the entire first half of the movie for the Tardis to show up and The Doctor to melt her with his sonic screwdriver. I wish I had saved my money but I’m a sucker of comic book movies. This may have cured me of it.

I was not likely to spend it in the first place, but all the same. No way. I’ll just save it up to buy the new ‘Monster Squad’ DVD that’s coming out.

Yea, the Surfer was cool. Everything else sucked. So, in short, if you’ve seen the long trailer, you’ve seen the good stuff. Just watch that again.
Even though the Surfer was cool and I can usually deal with them changing things in these comic movies, I still didn’t like the chanegs they made to his powers. Dr. Doom Surfer? Ghey.
