Dragon*Con 2007

5 September 2007 by Gnoll One Comment

Well, it’s that time again. And while it might appear that way at the moment, I promise you that MCFTR is not solely in the business of reviewing fan conventions.

Once again, I spent a good portion of my Labor Day weekend rubbing shoulders with C-list celebs, checking out costumes, and resisting the temptation to spend money on geeky wares. Unfortunately, I also spent way too long standing in line just to get in: over three hours, and that’s even after arriving extra early. After experiencing the astonishing organization that is Comic Con International, it’s really glaring how poorly the organizers of Dragon*Con run their admission area.

Maybe, one of these days, I’ll go back and upload my pics from last year’s edition of the East Coast’s biggest nerdfest, but for now, here is this year’s. I took far less than I usually do, but there are some good ones nonetheless. Enjoy.

Glad to see you’re spending your time wisely. Do we get a commentary, or were you sober during the event this year? By the way, big doings at East Lake this week, as you know. I may get a chance to stop by, but will call first.
