TITANIC

1997, Dir. James Cameron
194 min. Rated PG-13.
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates.

Review by Chad J. Shonk

Editor's note: We all know the phenomenon that Titanic became. There's nothing new that can be said about this film that you haven't already heard or read in another source. I will give you the background information here, however: Two of the members of the MCFTR enjoyed TITANIC thoroughly, and one disliked it. Unlike some film criticism sites out there, we're not going to turn on TITANIC just because it made a billion dollars worldwide. We'll just let it rest. Below is a very short subjective by Chad penned just hours after seeing the film. This is all that will be mentioned of the film on this entire website. If you want to read about TITANIC, there are a million websites out there that will be more than happy to expound upon it.

Wow.

Fuck L.A. CONFIDENTIAL.

Fuck BOOGIE NIGHTS.

Fuck CHASING AMY.

Wow.
